What it is
Seercraft has an MCP server. Once it’s connected, you can ask Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor things like “what did my competitors launch this week?” and get an answer from the ads Seercraft tracks for you.
- It’s for paid plans only.
- A connected app can read your workspace. It can make changes only if you tick “Allow changes” when you connect it: then it can create boards and briefs, and it shows you a plan with its cost before anything that uses AI credits. It can never delete, publish or change billing.
- Your app’s AI writes the answer. Seercraft’s tools hand it the data and a link for each ad, brand or brief, so it can cite them.
Server URL
https://api.seercraft.io/mcpYou sign in with your Seercraft account the first time you connect. There’s no API key to copy.
How to connect
Claude (claude.ai and Claude Desktop)
- Open Customize, then Connectors.
- Press + Add, then Add custom connector.
- Name it Seercraft, paste the server URL, and press Continue, then Add.
- Press Connect, sign in to Seercraft, pick the workspace and press Allow.
- In a chat, turn Seercraft on from the connectors menu and ask your question.
The server URL is https://api.seercraft.io/mcp. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it first in Organization settings › Connectors › Add › Custom › Web. Everyone else then connects it from Customize › Connectors.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http seercraft https://api.seercraft.io/mcpThen run /mcp in Claude Code, pick seercraft, and sign in. Your browser opens the Seercraft page where you press Allow.
ChatGPT
- Open Plugins and press +, then Add custom MCP server.
- Name it Seercraft and paste the server URL.
- Choose OAuth for authentication, confirm, and press Create as a plugin.
- Install it, sign in to Seercraft, pick the workspace and press Allow.
The server URL is https://api.seercraft.io/mcp. Custom MCP servers depend on your ChatGPT plan; on Business or Enterprise an admin may need to allow them. ChatGPT moves these menus from time to time; if yours look different, look for the option to add a custom MCP server.
Cursor
Add Seercraft to ~/.cursor/mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"seercraft": {
"url": "https://api.seercraft.io/mcp"
}
}
}Cursor asks you to sign in the first time it uses Seercraft. Sign in and press Allow.
Try these
Once Seercraft is connected, ask in your own words. These work well:
- “What did my competitors launch or stop on Meta this week?”
- “Which hooks do my competitors’ longest-running ads use?”
- “Give me 3 ad tests for my brand based on what competitors are running.”
- “What offers is Ekster running right now, and are any new this month?”
- “Show me the ads on my Q4 hooks board and sum up the angles.”
Answers link each ad, brand, board or brief back to Seercraft, so you can open it and check.
Tools
| Tool | What it returns |
|---|---|
what_changed | New, stopped and relaunched ads per brand in a time window. Counts ideas first, with ads in brackets. |
search_ads | Find and count ads, grouped by idea. |
get_ad | One ad: its copies, related ads and the changes seen. |
breakdown | An ad’s stored Breakdown. It never runs a new one. |
longest_running | The longest-running ads. |
creative_patterns | Hooks, angles, offers and formats across ideas, from inferred tags. |
brand_profile | A brand’s ad mix. |
my_brand | Your brand profile. |
test_plan | Today’s 3 tests, if Seer has written them. |
list_boards | Your boards. |
get_board | One board and the ads saved to it. |
list_briefs | Your briefs. |
get_brief | One brief. |
Changes
These work when you ticked “Allow changes (create boards and briefs)” while connecting. Settings → Integrations shows which connections can make changes; to change it, disconnect the app and connect it again.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
create_board | Makes a private board, with ads on it if you name them. |
add_ads_to_board | Saves ads to one of your boards, or to Saved. |
create_brief_from_ads | Prepares a brief proposal and its cost from ads or a board. Confirm it with run_plan to write the brief and use credits. |
propose_plan | Drafts several changes as one plan, with its steps and cost, without changing anything. |
run_plan | Runs a plan once you’ve said yes. Running it again never makes anything twice. |
Prompts
Ready-made prompts appear in your app’s prompt or slash menu (in Claude, the + menu; in Claude Code and Cursor, type /). Each one tells the AI which Seercraft tools to use and to cite every ad it mentions.
| Prompt | What you get |
|---|---|
| Weekly competitor sweep | What your tracked competitors launched, stopped and relaunched in the last 7 days, the new angles, and what keeps running. |
| 3 tests for my brand | Three ad tests in your brand’s voice, built on what competitors launch and keep running. |
| Offer scan | Which offers competitors run now, which are new this month, and any that clash with what your brand never says. |
What changed at a brand brand | One brand’s launches, stops and relaunches this week, with the ads behind them. The brand box suggests the brands you track. |
Resources
Context you can attach to a chat without asking a question, where your app supports MCP resources.
| Resource | What it holds |
|---|---|
seercraft://brand-profile | Your brand profile: what you sell, audiences, positioning, voice, claims, and what you never say. |
seercraft://tracked-brands | The competitors you track, with ads read, when each was last read and how complete that read was. |
Limits and privacy
- Each connection reads one workspace, the one you pick when you press Allow.
- You can see and disconnect every app in Settings → Integrations. A disconnected app loses access straight away.
- Each connection is rate limited.
- Nothing is written: the tools, prompts and resources only read.
